Creating Worksheets from Sample Lists

Overview

Less complex Worksheets can be created for Unassigned Samples from Sample Lists, per Analysis category. QC sample can then be added manually

Sample Selection

Navigate to the Sample list for where the Worksheet must be created, often the landing page immediately after Sample reception. It can be the global list, per Client or Batch

This is an ideal way to restrict Worksheet Analyses per Client or Batch

Select the Samples from unassigned ones and click [Create Worksheet]

Per Category

The function forces the user to restrict the Analyses for the worksheet to  specific categories by bringing this form up:

Press [Create Worksheet]

New Worksheet

The new Worksheet is created and the user is taken to it. If Worksheet Category titles is enabled, it will be displayed in the WS header

The user may now assign Analyst and Instrument, and add QC samples or proceed immediately with capturing results which then enter standard Bika Senaite workflow
