Business rules, QC, are coded into Bika Instruments and error and warning messages are generated when not adhered to
Instrument disabled until successful calibration
Out of range values for a reference Sample were captured on an Instrument and it is take off line until recalibrated
Instrument Corrective Action
Warning Some analyses use out-of-date or uncalibrated instruments. Results edition not allowed
On Worksheet or Sample Views
An Instrument used on the Sample or Worksheet failed QC and has to be recalibrated and pass QC before any further results on the Sample or Worksheet can be submitted

The Instruments listed has no valid calibration certificate, the last one most likely expired
Capture a new one with future expiry date
