When an Analysis result submitted, exceeds panic level

The life threatening result is indicated with an icon more severe than that of the standard out of range result, and a pop-up alert is imediately displayed

Senaite then sends an email to the labmanager users - to trigger confirmation test planning and tele-comms actions to take. The user may choose to immediately alert the client or do a re-test first

Alerting the Care Giver

Labmanager users are prompted to alert the Refering Institution and Care Giver in an on-screen message displaying all the relevant detailsan their contact telephone numbers

Senaite opens a new email message with all the relevant details pre-completed, but editable, including a canned message requesting a fresh sample

On completion, the user sends the email to the recipients. Telephoning them is strongly advised
